Time after Pentecost • Lectionary 27—October 5, 2008

Preacher: Pastor Jeff Lilley
Summary: Today’s Gospel talks about a very special place—a vineyard. We know grapes grow on vines, but sometimes if we don’t take care of the vineyard, the grapes are small and sour. If we take care of the vineyard, the grapes are big and sweet. The world is God’s vineyard, and we are called to be stewards—to take care of it. If we show God’s love, take care of each other, and take care of the world, we will be good fruit in God’s vineyard.
