Over here at our healing station we have a candle that is very similar to the one at the font, so this reminds us of our baptism. And we have oil here to be marked with the cross, just like in baptism.</itunes:summary>

He started to ask important questions about how God relates with people, and he talked about God&apos;s love and forgiveness, which we call grace. Grace sets us free to care for others, and that&apos;s what we celebrate today.</itunes:summary>

Usually Jesus could do miracles because the Holy Spirit was with him. Many people have trouble understanding the Holy Spirit because we cannot see the Spirit. But it&apos;s like when I blow on this and it moves. You cannot see the wind, but you know that the wind moves it. Sometimes we can feel the Spirit moving us towards love, joy, and peace. You remember that we hid the word &quot;alleluia&quot; at the beginning of Lent, and today you have to see if you can find it. Now, I want you to lift up the alleluia, and everyone else will say it as loud as they can. So, for the rest of the Easter season, I want you to wake up every morning and say &quot;Alleluia! Christ is risen!&quot;</itunes:summary>

At that time, people were bad, so God sent a flood, but Noah built an ark to save his family and the animals. After the flood, God promised never again to destroy the world with a flood, and God put the rainbow in the sky as a symbol of that promise. So, when you see the rainbow, remember the promise God made to all creation. But God also made a promise to you in baptism that you are a child of God. So, whenever you feel the rain on your head, remember the promise God made to you in baptism.</itunes:summary>

That&apos;s a big word meaning Jesus was changed in appearance. One example of change you know about is when someone lights a match and you get fire. Scientifically, fire is the rapid oxidation of something, but you know what fire is, even if you don&apos;t know how it works. We know Jesus was changed, but we don&apos;t know how. But change is no good if we don&apos;t use it. Candles and lights put fire to work. The fire within you is the Holy Spirit. God is working with you to bring Jesus to the world.</itunes:summary>

God sent him to tell the people of Nineveh to repent, but he got on a boat and went the other way. So God sent a storm, and the sailors threw Jonah into the sea. And then God sent a big fish to swallow him and spit him up on the land. So Jonah went to Nineveh and called the people to repent. And they did. Now to repent means to turn around. The people of Nineveh repented, and so did God. And God did not destroy Nineveh. Jonah was mad about that, but that is a different story for another day. But we should remember that when God calls us to repent, we should turn around and return to God.</itunes:summary>

<description>A children&apos;s conversation by Pastor Jeff Lilley -------------------------------------------------------- Today we are talking about the word &quot;disciple.&quot; You know this means follower or helper or even sidekick. Jesus did many things, but he couldn&apos;t do them all by himself. I can&apos;t do everything here at church by myself. So Jesus called disciples. We know their names, and we know the names of many modern disciples. In fact, you are all called to be disciples so all of God&apos;s work can be done.</description>

Now, if one of you did a lot of chores, and another did only a little, but you both got paid the same, I know you would think it wasn&apos;t fair. But in today&apos;s Gospel, Jesus tells a story about a land owner who paid people who worked all day the same as those who only worked a few hours. This story tells us that God&apos;s love is the same for everyone, whether they deserve it or not. I&apos;m glad that God loves us all the same.</itunes:summary>

When someone hurts us, we may want to hurt them back. But in today&apos;s Gospel, Jesus says that doesn&apos;t work, and we should forgive them every time. &quot;Forgive&quot; means giving your heart and love before the other person deserves it. That is the only way we can help people and change things. God forgives us, and we forgive others by giving God&apos;s love away.</itunes:summary>

But she replies that the dogs can eat the crumbs. Jesus is amazed at her faith and heals her daughter. In this story, Jesus changes his behavior and shows God&apos;s love for everyone. His cousin John the Baptist had been killed, and Jesus was sad, but there were many people wanting to listen to him. The Gospel says Jesus had compassion for the people. That means he felt with them. So even though he was sad, he healed the people and taught them; and even though the disciples wanted to send the people away, Jesus fed them with just five loaves and two fish. Soon we will serve all the people here with just a little bread and wine. Your tummies may not be full, but we will all be full of God&apos;s love. It&apos;s not how much we have but what God does with what we have.</itunes:summary>

<itunes:summary>A children&apos;s conversation by Pastor Jeff Lilley Today is Trinity Sunday, when we try to understand more about God. We often talk about God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but those are only three of many ways to talk about God. We also call God Mother or Creator or Redeemer or Helper or Friend. God is all these and much more. The Trinity helps us think about God in many ways, but the most important idea is that God will be with you all forever.</itunes:summary>

Wind doesn&apos;t seem like much, but look at this empty balloon. Right now it isn&apos;t worth much, but if I blow wind into it, it become much more interesting. If I just tie it up, it will gradually deflate and not be good for anything again. But when I let go. It flies around and gives the gift of joy. It&apos;s the same with the spirit. It brings joy when we let it go.</itunes:summary>

When I open this egg, it&apos;s empty. Usually when you find an empty present, you&apos;re not happy, but the empty tomb of Easter is a great gift. We have another gift today. Do you remember how we hid the &quot;Alleluia&quot; on the First Sunday of Lent? Let&apos;s go find it. This &quot;Alleluia&quot; reminds us that Christ is risen for each of you.</itunes:summary>
