The Process Forum series continues in January by focusing on an article by James Poling. Poling, widely known for his work in Pastoral Counseling and Pastoral Theology, speaks from a Process Perspective. For the purposes of doing Pastoral Counseling that can mean paying special attention to the deep cultural and personal conditions of the client, acknowledging the pervasive work of "spirit" in each circumstance, and recognizing the dynamic between the counselor and client. Poling's article has been selected partly because he himself will be speaking in Honolulu in February. Poling's article is available from
www.ctr4process.org.
The sessions at Lutheran Church of Honolulu will again be on the second weekend of the month, Saturday, January 12, 9:30 a.m. and repeated on Sunday, January 13 about noon.
