John Alexander

My idea of a perfect day is... hiking in the mountains above Honolulu, followed by a trip to Bubbie’s Ice Cream Parlor.

My biggest challenge is... figuring out what to do when I retire in about a million years.

My biggest pet peeve is... immature, selfish, and dangerous drivers who feel that traffic laws don’t apply to them.

My favorite children’s book is... Charlotte’s Web.

My last meal would be... lasagna with sausage and mushrooms.

I am happiest when... I am composing music.

I grew up in... Homer, New York, a beautiful, historic, rural and extremely friendly part of Upstate New York.

My guilty pleasure is... chocolate in any of its various forms—but of course now that we know dark chocolate is health food, the guilt is mostly gone.

I stay at LCH because... everyone is extremely friendly, we all love music, and Pastor Jeff is simply the best preacher I’ve ever known.
