Jeanne Castello

Fellowship Committee Co-Chair

Jeanne Castello (left) and Mary-Jo Estes, Fellowship Committee co-chairs, take a short break from the serving line at Carl Crosier’s farewell reception.

My life verse is... every person has a talent. Volunteer your gift to the group and together as a team, great things can happen.

I am happiest when... my adult children, husband, and I are able to get together, share a meal, and just talk and visit with each other.

I came to LCH... when Randy and I were looking for a place to get married in 1980. He remembered LCH from when he sang in the new church choir as a UH student in 1972. He rejoined the choir, I was welcomed at Sunday worship and inquiry classes, and we have been a part of the church community ever since.

I stay at LCH because... the people are my spiritual family and together with worship and music, feed my soul.

I was born and raised in Honolulu and have lived here for most of my life, except when I lived in London and New York in the beginning of my career. I’m a flight attendant, so being on the Fellowship Committee is a natural calling.
