I came to LCH... for the music, since music is mostly where I find God. And I was not disappointed! Dr. McCreary serves as chair in the Department of Arts and Humanities at Hawai‘i Pacific University, where she also directs the Chamber Orchestra. As Children’s Music Coordinator, Dr. McCreary teaches music to the Sunday School children and plans for special services, concerts, and activities involving the children of LCH. Regular special events for the children include Children’s Sabbath in October, the Jesse Tree liturgy on the Sundays of Advent, the Family Service on Christmas Eve, the Heifer Benefit Concert during Lent, and the Seder Meal on Palm Sunday.
