My biggest challenge is... delegating. My favorite children’s book is... the Narnia series. The one thing I want to make sure people know about LCH is... we are welcoming to children. I stay at LCH because... I am nourished every week by the worship experience, and I love the people. I was a normal Lutheran young adult who was happy outside a church family. After my husband and children and I moved to Hawaii, my mother joined us. One day she announced to me that her grandchildren needed to go to Sunday School. She also volunteered to take them. That was my introduction to LCH. I had forgotten how wonderful a church community is and didn’t even realize I missed it. I’ve been coming to LCH now for 30 years and currently my grandchildren are in Sunday School. ![]() 1730 Punahou Street, Honolulu, HI 96822 • 808-941-2566 Comments welcome at webmaster@lchwelcome.org |
