Oahu Youth Events and Activities (OYEA)

Description

Hikers in one of the first OYEA activities.

Recognizing a need for more opportunities to enable our youth to join together and serve the Lord, Lutheran churches from across Oahu formed OYEA in 2006. The mission statement calls for us, first, to support today’s youth (young adults) in forming lasting bonds of faith through: service, witness, leadership, and mentorship/training and, second, to empower youth to be independent influential members of the community.
