8:00 O’Clock Ensemble

Description

Members of the Ensemble provide music for 8:00 AM worship.

Members of the Ensember provide music for 8:00 AM worship.

The 8:00 O’Clock Ensemble accompanies the 8:00 AM service with hymns, psalms, offertory anthems, and communion pieces for the first three Sundays of each month at the 8:00 AM service. We are a mixed group of all ages and skill levels, who enjoy making music for this informal and more contemporary service. Piano is the primary keyboard instrument, augmented by guitar, flute, and other melody instruments. Worship materials are taken from contemporary hymnals including With One Voice, Worship and Praise, Renewing Worship Songbook, Evangelical Lutheran Worship, and Gather Comprehensive.

Volunteer Opportunities

Participation in the 8:00 AM service on the first three Sundays of each month
Rehearsals
- Normally held on the Wednesday immediately preceding the first Sunday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 PM
- Sunday morning rehearsals begin promptly at 7:15 AM
