Healing Station

Bob Zimmer offers annointing and prayer for healing to a mother and daughter.

On the second Sunday of each month, worshippers are invited to receive individual prayer and laying on of hands at a prayer station located near the Continuo Organ during communion. This ancient practice invites the presence of the Holy Spirit for healing and hope for both the recipient and prayer minister. Prayer ministers are laypersons who desire to share the ministry of prayer through the laying on of hands in worship.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Prayer ministers receive training for prayer and laying on of hands prior to their first day of service
  • Prayer ministers make themselves available on a scheduled basis for either the 8:00 AM or 10:30 AM service on the second Sunday of the month
