Usher Jean-Paul Klingebiel offers worship booklets and bulletins as people enter the Nave for worship.

Ushers serve as hosts of the worship services that occur regularly on Sunday mornings and at special services held during the Christmas Season and Holy Week. Ushers typically serve about 1.5 to 2 hours per service. 10:30 AM ushers serve every other month.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • Before 8:00 AM service
    • Prepare coffee service
    • Unlock doors, turn on a/c, set nave light switches, set out usher nametags
    • Set up small tables with baskets for empty and used communion cups
  • Before all services
    • Assemble worship booklets and inserts
    • Hand out worship booklets as people enter the nave
    • Show peoplewhere to sit
  • During service
    • Collect offering
    • Assist people going to the communion table
  • After service
    • Gather and store worship booklets and recycle inserts
    • Assist with food and coffee table clean-up
  • Secure church campus before leaving
