PAU HANA PARTY TOMORROW (Friday)!

Join Pastor Jeff and the Pau Hana Team for an evening of fun and enjoyment at Magic Island Park and Ala Moana Beach Park. Come as you are, right after work, school, or a day off. Bring your swim suit, or wear high heels. Just come!

We will set up at Magic Island at 3 pm and start serving dinner at 5 pm. Come whenever you can and bring your family and friends. Magic island is located just Diamond Head of Ala Moana Mall near Waikiki Google map. We have reserved Picnic Area #38 on Magic Island map (PDF). Park in the main lot on the Diamond Head side if possible. Walk toward the Lagoon swimming area and look for a large man in an Aloha Shirt and white hat (that will be Pastor). If you have any trouble finding us, call Pastor’s cell phone. Everything including food, drink, plates, and napkins will be provided.

Summer Worship Schedule Begins THIS Sunday

Summer worship Schedule begins this Sunday, June 1st. From June 1st through August 10th we will have one morning worship service each Sunday morning at 9:15 am. Compline will continue to be held at 9:00 pm each Sunday evening.

Faith and Arts Sunday THIS SUNDAY

Come see cool art produced by LCH members and friends this Sunday. Sculptures, paintings, pottery, and poetry are all a part of this wonderful expression of faith through art.

We are almost there!!! Lutheran Church of Honolulu has nearly reached its goal of just over $4,000 for the Blessed to Build Two Blessings campaign of our Synod. Mahalo nui loa to everyone who has given so generously. We hope to raise the last $700 before the end of the month. But if you would like to make a pledge for this fund-raiser and pay later in the year, just contact Coleen in the church office!

First Communion Class Sunday June 8

Please join Pastor Jeff for a First Communion class on Sunday June 8th at 10:45 am in the Boardroom. Young folks who have never had communion instruction—or who would like learn more about the sacrament of Holy Communion—are welcome to bring their families for this fun event. A light lunch will follow. Contact the church office to rsvp and to receive more information.
