We Need Your Help

One of the great gifts Christ gave his followers was the command to reach out beyond ourselves and help others in need. Lutheran Church of Honolulu is sponsoring a team to walk in the 2012 AIDS Walk this Sunday morning. The AIDS Walk is the main fundraiser for the Life Foundation, which is the largest service provider for persons living with AIDS in Hawai‘i.

With only five days before the walk we have collected only $625 of our $2,500 goal, and only five of the ten walkers we hope to field. We have a lot of work to do in the next few days!

Here’s an incentive (I hope) Every person who donates a minimum of $500 to our team will win a gourmet meal for two prepared by Pastor Jeff, that will include your choice of filet mignon or ahi prepared to your liking along with starters, desert, and wine or other beverage served onboard “Orca” at sunset on a Friday followed by fireworks viewing at the Ala Wai Harbor.
