The three sites on this page each provide the complete text for various services of daily prayer.

Mission St. Clare

According to the site, the Mission of St. Clare exists to provide busy people a place to participate in Morning and Evening Pray.

On the main page, select the calendar for either Rite I (traditional language) or Rite II (contemporary language) of the Book of Common Prayer of The Episcopal Church. On the calendar page, click on the icon for Morning Prayer or Evening Prayer. This will take you to a new page with navigation links in the left window and the corresponding texts in the right window. PDF and text versions for handhelds are also available.

The Daily Office

This site provides the full text of Morning and Evening Prayer for each day according to the Book of Common Prayer of The Episcopal Church. The services are provided in two different formats.

  • Wordpress Blog—A simple feed with today’s service of Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer. Morning Prayer is available early in the day, and Evening Prayer appears above it around 10:00 AM Hawaii time. Scroll down for previous days.
  • The Daily Office website—A website with links to a full week’s services of Morning and Evening Prayer as well as Midday Prayer and Night Prayer from A New Zealand Prayer Book. The New Zealand services include some response in Maori. The website includes some other information related to issues facing the Episcopal Church, including a gay-friendly look at “the Gay Issue.”

Church of England

The official website of the Church of England provides full text services of Morning Prayer, Evening Prayer, and Night Prayer from Common Worship, their contemporary language resource, as well as the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.

The links below will take you to the contemporary-language services. Texts are changed at midnight, Universal Time (GMT), so choose “today” before 2:00 PM Hawaii time and “yesterday” after 2:00 PM. Links to traditional language from are available by following the copyright link at the end of this section.
