The longer center piece features a jeweled gold crown—representing sovereignty, the promise that Christ will come again to reign—superimposed on a silver cross.

The flanking pieces each have a lamp that reminds us both of the verse from Psalm 119:105 (“Thy word is a lamp unto my feet”) and the lamps of the wise and foolish virgins.
