Christmas Paraments—Altar Frontals The Christmas altar frontals each have a different scene from the Christmas story.

The left medallion displays angels with trumpets announcing the Good News of Jesus’ birth.

The middle medallion shows “shepherds abiding in the fields.”

The right medallion features the star over the city of Bethlehem.

The chalice veil is decorated with a representation of the bread and wine of Holy Communion.
