Process Thought Discussion Series

This monthly series of discussions on Process Thought is scheduled for the second Saturday of each month (9:30 to 11:00 AM) and the following Sunday (following the 10:30 worship service) in Isenberg Hall on the campus of the Lutheran Church of Honolulu.

A different issue is addressed each month with occasional guest speakers contributing their insights. Music and video clips are often used to illustrate points.

November 8 & 9, 2007	Process Thought and Science: Physics/Relativity
December 13 & 14, 2007	Process Thought and Poetry—“Poets are not believers. Their poetry does not translate into belief. The end of poetry is therefore poetry itself.”—Carse. Poems to be discussed.
January 10 & 11, 2008	Process Thought and Poetry II—“Poets are not believers. Their poetry does not translate into belief. The end of poetry is therefore poetry itself.”—Carse. Poems to be discussed.
February 14 & 15, 2008	Process Thought and Death—Two articles to consider: “God Is Becoming” and “A Pastoral on Death and Immortality” (available from Pastor Fritz)
March 14 & 15, 2008	Process Thought/ Principalities and Powers
April 11 & 12, 2008	Process Thought and Deep Religious Pluralism
May 9 & 10, 2008	Process Thought in China and Eastern Europe
