Then the pastors sprinkled everyone with water from the font using ti leaves while the choir sang a new version of Sicut cervus (Psalm 42) by Forrest Pierce that had been commissioned by Randy and Jeanne Castello.

The ministers, still vested in Lenten purple, exited, and the congregation chanted the Litany of the Saints and waited for the Easter proclamation.
