Palm Sunday—March 25, 2018

No children’s conversation given this Sunday.

Lent V—March 18, 2018

Preacher: Pastor Jeff Lilley
Summary: In today’s Gospel, Jesus talks about a new covenant, so there must have been an old covenant. That first covenant is embodied in the Ten Commandments, but we were not very good at keeping that covenant. The new covenant in Jesus shows us its reality in God’s love written on our hearts.

We expect this children’s conversation to be available soon.

Lent IV—March 11, 2018

No children’s conversation given this Sunday.

Lent III—March 4, 2018

No children’s conversation given this Sunday.

Lent II—February 25, 2018

Preacher: Pastor Jeff Lilley
Summary: In our first lesson God tells Abraham he will have a child, and he falls over laughing. His wife Sarah also laughed when God said she would have a child, but they became the father and mother of a great nation. There are lots of times when we think God is joking with us because God asks so much of us. But in our lives we know that God is always with us, and because of that, we can do things that seem impossible.

Lent I—February 18, 2018

Preacher: Pastor Jeff Lilley
Summary: Our first lesson tells about the rainbow that God placed in the sky after the flood as a sign of promise to all people. We love rainbows, and we know that they come along with the rain. Despite the horrible things that happen in the world, we have the promise that God is always with us.
