Preacher: Pastor Jeff Lilley
Summary: As we continue talking about the different parts of each worship service, we come to the Offering. We pass these plates, and people give offerings. God made and gave us everything we have, and now we have a chance to give some back. And some people also put prayers in here.

First Sunday in Lent—March 1, 2020

Preacher: Pastor Jeff Lilley
Summary: As we continue talking about the different parts of each worship service, we come to the Passing of the Peace, when people go all around hugging and shaking hands, and talking to each other. “Peace” means that war is over, and it relates to the Hewbrew word shalom, which has a broader meaning, like the Hawaiian word aloha. We say “The peace of the Lord be with you,” and the person replies “And also with you.”
