The LCH Summer Jazz Series is pleased to feature One Night Only as our first performing ensemble in 2021. Rachel Gonzales (vocals), Jim Guss (guitar), and Alex Morrison (upright acoustic bass) have prepared repertoire from the Great American Songbook, including ballads, swing and Latin tempos, scatting, and music to move your soul. Join us for a magical evening as we kick off our summer series.
The concert will be livestreamed on our Worship Services page and the LCH Facebook page June 18 at 7:00 pm and then archived on the LCH Facebook page.
The concert is free; and donations to support the concert series are gladly accepted using the link below. Suggested donation for this concert is $10–20.
The series continues with Jazz Evolution (a historical sampler of jazz music composed by some of the genre’s greats) on Friday, July 2, and Tribute to Manhattan Transfer (a night of vocal jazz in the swinging styles of legendary groups like Manhattan Transfer, New York Voices, and Singers Unlimited) on Friday, August 20.
